A l\u2019occasion de la 5\u00e8me Journ\u00e9e de la Recherche Italienne dans le Monde<\/strong>, l\u2019Ambassade d\u2019Italie \u00e0 Dakar organise la conf\u00e9rence en ligne \u00ab D\u00e9velopper la coop\u00e9ration scientifique entre l\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest et l\u2019Italie pour un avenir plus durable et sain<\/em> <\/span>\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Au cours de la conf\u00e9rence, des scientifiques ouest-africains et italiens exposeront les projets scientifiques realis\u00e9s conjointement et les r\u00e9sultats obtenus. En outre, de responsables des institutions nationales et d\u2019organisations internationales pr\u00e9senteront les opportunit\u00e9s pour la recherche scientifique et les programmes d\u2019enseignement sup\u00e9rieur concernant l\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest pour faire face aux futures d\u00e9fis scientifiques, technologiques, environnementaux et sociaux. L\u2019initiative sera l\u2019occasion pour les scientifiques, les chercheurs, les enseignants de l\u2019enseignement sup\u00e9rieur et les \u00e9tudiants de faire le point sur la coop\u00e9ration scientifique, technologique et de l\u2019enseignement sup\u00e9rieur existant entre les pays d\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest et l\u2019Italie et d\u2019avoir une vue d\u2019ensemble des possibles sujets scientifiques d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat commun.<\/p>\n

L\u2019Ambassadeur d\u2019Italie \u00e0 Dakar, Giovanni Umberto De Vito, souligne la pertinence d\u2019une telle initiative pour renforcer les liens entre les pays d\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest et l\u2019Italie et reconna\u00eet la contribution des syst\u00e8mes nationaux de recherche et d\u2019innovation face aux opportunit\u00e9s et d\u00e9fis du monde actuel pour ce qui concerne le d\u00e9veloppement durable, l\u2019\u00e9conomie circulaire, les changements climatiques et l\u2019am\u00e9lioration du bien-\u00eatre des citoyens. \u00ab L\u2019Italie reconnait l\u2019\u00e9norme potentiel d\u2019un continent jeune comme l\u2019Afrique et a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019investir ult\u00e9rieurement dans la structuration de ses rapports avec cette r\u00e9gion, ces Instituts de recherche et ces innovateurs par la d\u00e9signation d\u2019un attach\u00e9 scientifique aupr\u00e8s de notre Ambassade \u00e0 Dakar \u00bb.<\/p>\n

La Journ\u00e9e de la Recherche Italienne est une initiative du Minist\u00e8re italien des Affaires Etrang\u00e8res et de la Coop\u00e9ration Internationale, mise en place par le R\u00e9seau diplomatique italien dans le monde. Elle vise \u00e0 mettre en valeur la contribution des chercheurs italiens aux efforts scientifiques internationaux, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 vulgariser les r\u00e9sultats de leur recherche.<\/p>\n

The Italian Embassy in Dakar celebrates the 5th edition of the Italian Research Day in the World<\/strong> with the online conference \u201cDeveloping the scientific cooperation between West Africa and Italy for a more sustainable and healthier future<\/span><\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

The conference will present the results of research projects jointly conducted by West African and Italian scientists. It will also host officials from national institutions and international organizations who will go through the current programs in scientific research and higher education opportunities regarding West Africa. The most promising leads to face future scientific, technological, environmental and social challenges will also be discussed, thus allowing the participants to take stock of the existing cooperation between West African countries and Italy and to share a broad picture of possible scientific subjects of common interest.<\/p>\n

The Italian Ambassador in Dakar, Giovanni Umberto De Vito, underlines the relevance of such an initiative to strengthen the cooperation between the West African countries and Italy and acknowledges the contribution of national research and innovation systems in addressing current opportunities and challenges in terms of sustainable development, circular economy, climate change and improvement of the citizens\u2019 well-being: \u201cItaly acknowledges the untapped potential of a continent with a young population as Africa and decided to further invest in building upon the existing cooperation with the research institutes and the innovators of West Africa, through the appointment of a scientific attach\u00e9 at our Embassy in Dakar\u201d.<\/p>\n
